Delete your browsing data

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More More
  3. Click More tools and then Clear browsing data.
  4. Choose a time range, like Last hour or All time.
  5. Select the types of information you want to remove.
  6. Click Clear data.

Disable all Chrome’s extensions

  1. Open the browser’s menu by clicking the Customize Google Chrome button at the top right of its window.
  2. Then select More tools > Extensions to open the tab shown directly below.disable chrome extensions
  3. Toggle the extensions off by clicking the button highlighted below.
  4. Alternatively, users can get rid of extensions by clicking Remove.

Reset Google Chrome

  1. Open Chrome’s menu by clicking the Customize Google Chrome button.
  2. Click Settings to open the tab shown directly below.
  3. Scroll down the Settings tab, and click the Advanced button.
  4. Then scroll down to the Restore settings to their original defaults option.reset chrome to factory settings
  5. Click the Restore settings to their original defaults option, and select the Reset settings option.

Turn off Chrome’s hardware acceleration

  1. Enter chrome://settings in the browser’s URL bar and press Return.
  2. Click Advanced Settings on the left side of the page and select System.
  3. Then turn off the Use hardware acceleration when available setting is shown directly below, and restart Google Chrome.
